Product description

The MobilTherm-2S is a simple, general-purpose temperature monitoring, remote signaling and remote control module. The GSM temperature monitoring and alarm module has an internal or external digital thermometer and a single-circuit low-current relay output. Its relay output can be switched on and off with a single SMS into a bistable state (changing only with a new SMS) or a monostable state, meaning it can be energized for a given time via SMS, after which the relay automatically switches off. The digital thermometer connected to the module can measure between -50C and +50C. If the set lower and upper temperature limits are exceeded, the module will send an SMS to the pre-programmed user phone numbers. It also sends an SMS about changes in the digital input. Users are notified of the temperature alarm by a pre-set SMS and/or a phone call.

The MobilTherm-2S GSM temperature alarm can be programmed for a maximum of 4 phone numbers, so it will send each event to 1-4 phone numbers according to its programming. It can be successfully used in refrigerators and cold rooms, air-conditioned rooms, warehouses, and places used for tempered agricultural or animal husbandry purposes, but it is also suitable for remote control of auxiliary heating in cars. Its power supply is 10-30Vdc DC with a minimum load capacity of 500mA. The programming of the MobilTherm-2S is possible from a computer via a microUSB port using our free Unified download software, or by sending a few SMS messages to the module. Many parameters of the GSM temperature alarm, such as the module, the thermometer, the output, etc., can be named with a maximum of 32 characters, and the format of the command controlling the outputs can also be defined. By sending the commands to the module, the relay executes them (switches on or off). It only accepts commands from dedicated phone numbers, so unauthorized persons cannot disable or reprogram the module.

The GSM remote thermometer and temperature alarm module is available complete with an industrial GSM module, always with the latest operating software, internal or external antenna, in a boxed version under the name MobilTherm-2S, and its larger versions can be purchased under the names MobilTherm-2M and MobilTherm-2xL. The smallest version does not contain an internal battery. The version that can be snapped onto a "C" rail (DIN rail) is available under the name MobilTherm-2C, also with an internal battery and high-current relays, specifically suitable for controlling network devices. All devices are available with a built-in small stick antenna or an external magnetic base antenna.
