Product description

The MobilTherm-2xc is an industrial GSM-based module for remote measurement, remote signaling, and remote operation, designed for high-current temperature indication and temperature alarm, in a "C" rail configuration. The GSM module features an internal Lithium-polymer battery, 2 external digital thermometers, 2 inputs activated by closing contacts, and 2 single-circuit high-voltage and high-current, 230V 8A relay outputs. Both relay outputs can be switched on and off via SMS into a bistable (changes only with another SMS) or monostable state, meaning that with one command SMS, it can be energized for a specified time, after which the relay automatically switches off.

Up to 2 digital thermometers can be connected to the module, measuring between -50C and +50C. If the configured upper and lower temperature limits are exceeded, it will send a notification to the pre-programmed user phone numbers. It also sends SMS messages about changes in the two digital inputs. Users are notified of temperature alarms or input changes via SMS with configurable content and/or phone calls. The NO and COM outputs of the relays are wired out, so consumers are off by default and can be switched on by energizing the relay.

The MobilTherm-2xC temperature alarm can be programmed for 4 phone numbers. It can be used in refrigeration chambers, air-conditioned rooms, warehouses, and server rooms, as well as in facilities for temperature-controlled agricultural and/or animal husbandry purposes. It requires a power supply of 10-30Vdc DC voltage with a minimum 500mA load capacity. Programming is possible via computer using our free downloadable software through a microUSB port, or by sending a few SMS messages to the module.

The inputs and outputs can be named with a maximum of 32 characters, and the format of the command controlling the outputs can also be defined. By sending these commands to the module, the relays will execute them (turn on or off). The module only accepts commands from dedicated phone numbers, so unauthorized persons cannot disable or reprogram the module. The "C" or "DIN" rail module has an internal Li-Po battery, so it will send an alarm even in the event of a power outage. It operates for approximately 4-6 hours on the internal battery, so if power is restored within this time, the device will also report it via SMS and call.

The GSM remote thermometer and temperature alarm module is available complete with an industrial GSM module, always with the latest operating software, an external or internal antenna, in a boxed version under the name MobilTherm-2xC, and a smaller version under the name MobilTherm-2mC. The smaller version, the MobilTherm-2mC, is also in a "DIN" rail box and contains only 1 input, 1 output, and 1 thermometer, in addition to the internal battery. Both devices are equipped with digital thermometers on shielded cables up to 10 meters long. Thus, these devices, with their high-current relays, are specifically designed and suitable for controlling network equipment. All devices are available with a built-in small stick antenna or an external magnetic base antenna.
