Product description

The MobilTherm-2xL is an industrial GSM-based temperature indicator and temperature alarm module developed for remote measurement, remote signaling, and remote control. The GSM module features an internal Lithium-polymer battery, 2 external digital thermometers, 2 inputs activated by closing contacts, and 2 single-circuit low-current relay outputs. Both relay outputs can be switched on and off via SMS into a bistable state (changing only upon a new SMS) or a monostable state, meaning they can be energized for a specified period by a command SMS, after which the relay automatically switches off.

The module can be connected to a maximum of 2 digital thermometers, which can measure between -50°C and +50°C. If the set lower and upper temperature limits are exceeded, the module will send an SMS to the pre-programmed user phone numbers. It also sends SMS notifications about changes in the two digital inputs. Users are informed about temperature alarms or input changes via pre-set SMS content and/or phone calls. The NO output (normally open contact) of the relays is wired out, so consumers are off by default, and devices can be switched on remotely by energizing the relay.

The MobilTherm-2xL GSM temperature alarm can be programmed for a maximum of 4 phone numbers. It is well-suited for refrigerators, cold rooms, air-conditioned spaces, warehouses, and locations used for tempered agricultural or animal husbandry purposes. Its power supply requirement is 8-30V DC with a minimum load capacity of 500mA. Programming is possible via its microUSB port from a computer using our dedicated Unified free download software, or by sending a few SMS messages to the module. The inputs and outputs can be named with a maximum of 32 characters, and the format of the commands controlling the outputs can also be defined. These

commands, when sent to the module, will cause the relays to execute (switch on or off). The module only accepts commands from dedicated phone numbers, ensuring that unauthorized persons cannot disable or reprogram the module. The module has an internal battery, so it sends an alarm even in the event of a power outage. It operates for approximately 4-6 hours on the internal battery, so if power is restored within this time, the device will report it via SMS and call.

The GSM remote thermometer and temperature alarm module is available completely with an industrial GSM module, always with the latest operating software, with an external or internal antenna, in a boxed design under the name MobilTherm-2xL. Smaller versions are available under the names MobilTherm-2M and MobilTherm-2S. The smallest version does not include an internal battery. The version that can be snapped onto a "C" rail (DIN rail) is available under the name MobilTherm-2C, also with an internal battery and high-current relays, specifically suitable for controlling network equipment. All devices are available with a built-in small whip antenna or an external magnetic base antenna.
